Personalised Support for Your Child's Literacy Journey
Available Face-to-Face and Online
If your child is struggling with literacy skills like reading and writing, an assessment can be the crucial first step in understanding the challenges they face. At Learning with Dyslexia Ltd, we believe that assessments are not just about identifying obstacles—they are about unlocking your child’s potential and building their self-belief.
Our assessments are designed to be more than just a ‘yes or no’ test. We focus on understanding your child as a unique individual and finding positive, actionable ways forward. The reports we provide are clear, easy to understand, and packed with practical recommendations tailored to your child’s specific learning needs. Each assessment is followed by a detailed written report that includes practical advice on how to support your child’s learning journey.
In some cases, a clear-cut diagnosis of dyslexia may not be possible. When this happens, we provide a comprehensive profile that highlights both strengths and areas for development. If needed, we can also recommend other professionals, such as speech and language therapists or occupational therapists, to ensure your child receives the most holistic support possible.
Full Diagnostic Assessment
Our Full Diagnostic Assessment is designed to identify the root causes of the difficulties your child may be experiencing. This assessment is suitable for individuals over 5 years old who have not been previously assessed or those who need a comprehensive update on their progress. The assessment typically takes 3 to 4 hours to complete.
During the assessment, we use a range of specialized tests to create a detailed and comprehensive report. This report will include a diagnosis of dyslexia if appropriate and will offer a holistic view of your child’s learning profile.
