Parent Support & Learning Advice

Neurodivergent Learning Consultation

Overview

At some point, many families reach a place where learning feels hard, school isn’t working as hoped, and everyone is exhausted. There may be assessments underway, long waiting lists, or uncertainty about what the next step should be.

Parent Support & Learning Advice offers calm, thoughtful guidance for families navigating neurodivergent learning. This is a space to pause, think clearly, and explore realistic options — without adding pressure for the child.

What this support can help with

This service is designed to support parents when things feel complex or stuck. Sessions may include:

  • Talking through a child’s learning profile, strengths, and current difficulties

  • Exploring school-based challenges such as anxiety, reduced timetables, or transitions

  • Thinking through next steps while waiting for further assessments or support

  • Advising on home learning approaches that protect wellbeing and confidence

  • Supporting parents to make informed, compassionate decisions

This is advisory support rather than therapy or tutoring, and is always guided by the individual child and family context.

How it works

Support is offered in blocks of hours, which can be used
flexibly as needed. Sessions are pre-booked to protect continuity and availability, and may take place online or in person.

If you are unsure how much support you might need, starting with a small block of hours is often helpful.

Fees

Consultation sessions,
meetings, and verbal advice

Written summaries or
recommendations (if requested)

Blocks of hours are invoiced in advance. Once payment is received, sessions are booked into the diary and can be moved if needed.
